About

The oldest registered herd of wagyu cattle in the UK. We purchased our first wagyu animals in 2009 but concerned about their authenticity we contacted Australian Wagyu Association and in 2012 registered the first DNA parent verified wagyu under Tyddewi Prefix

In 2013 just a year after registering our first animal we had the opportunity to move to Australia where we established a small herd based on the best genetics and information we could find at the time.

The early AWA Elite wagyu auctions gave us four foundations females from Westholme herd and in 2016 broke records paying $3,050 per straw for Mayura Itohhigenami Jnr

At the end of 2017 we called time on our Australian adventure and moved back to Wales having gained a incredible wagyu education, made some good friends and bred a few nice wagyu cattle.

Today we re-establishing the Tyddewi herd at Penrhiw Farm in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
